This course sheds light on the Holy Qur'an. When was the Qur'an revealed, how was it revealed and what kinds of revelation are there? What is the significance of the names of the chapters and the unconnected letters? How was the Qur'an compiled? Has the Qur'an been distorted or abrogated? Are there non-Arabic words in the Quran? This course addresses such questions, and the primary text will be Qur'anic Sciences by Abbas and Masuma Jaffer.
